I also have an question about the PSP.
How do you play old PS1 games? Since the PSP lacks L2 and R2!
And I'm assuming you can't play games like Ape Escape where two "dual sticks" are needed.

Most PS1 games had to be compatible with the original, no analog at all, PS1 controller. Since the PSP has its analog nub, different directons equal L2, R2, and L2+R2.
Still makes playing games like Medal of Honor a chore, though.
How do you mean different directions ?, different directions on what?
Do you have to move the analog nub in a certain direction while pressing the L and/or R button depending on which you "2" want?, is that what you meant?
Different directions on the analog nub. Pressing left on it is the same as pressing L2, and so forth and so on. Like I said, the majority of PS1 games didn't use analog, or had an option for analog or d-pad, but not both. If you use the analog nub, the d-pad is L1 and L2. If you use the d-pad, the analog nub is L1 and L2. This can be switched in the in game options screen.
Ok thx for explaining that, how about the graphics?
I mean on old PS1 games, they should be pretty nice on a little screen compared to if you played them on the PS3 and a HDTV probably
On the PSP, PS1 games look friggin amazing! On the PS3, the flaws are magnified. If I download a PS1 game, it's because it's going to my PSP.
