^^ yeah plus NSMB effect seems like it will carry on for at least a couple of months in japan. I'm not saying Wii sales are gonna be set on fire, but at least comfortably outselling the PS3 by 2:1 till march. By then anything can happen like we've seen this year

1) Last week's numbers have been adjusted down: Wii by 13k and PS3 by 30k.
2) Wii has now sold over 1 million units since the start of the race.
3) From here on in, I will also give the time lead which is how long ago the lead console reached the trailing console's corresponding current total. In this week's case, PS3's total is 4,579,587 so the time lead would be how many weeks ago Wii surpassed 9,579,587.

1) Media Create numbers are about 4k less than VGC for both consoles.
2) Sony announced this week that Gran Turismo 5 will not be released in March after all, which makes the PS3's chances of catching up seem quite bleak.

hard to imagine ps3 reaching 5m before wii reaches 10m at this point. It's been a pretty interesting comparison though.

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
