They were making engine all this time. Additional year probably was used for making engine multiplatform or maybe, they cut they work on exclusive ps3 engine and started making multiplatform, which resulted in more development time.

Anyway, half of FFXIIIv team was moved to help with FFXIII.
Also, another question, when to release FFXIIIv, if FFXIV will come by Christmas 2010. Japanese release could be in summer, but west?

Said it once and I'll say it again, all they need to do is announce it for the 360 and watch the pace kick up 10 fold.

If it ends up being as good as FFX, seeing as the first demos for both games sucked major ass, I'll be a happy bird.

This topic title is very misleading. It makes you think there is something wrong with the game, when really the only thing that was wrong was the method in which square showed it off.
