I expected this game to get trashed by most reviewers - instead, it is actually doing quite well so far (presently 81 on Metacritic). Except for two 70s (from NGamer UK and Game Informer), it's all 80 and up:

GamePro - 100 (5 stars, translated by Metacritic to 100)

Even disregarding the last one (given by the same guy who gave Conduit 3.5 stars while completely disreagrding the multiplayer...) it's still a solid Metacritic 8 . 

And beyond the review scores, actually reading the reviews, it seems they all actually enjoyed it. I wasn't going to get this one (at least not anytime soon), but I've changed my mind. Let's see if I can get my wife to join me in co-op.

Those scores are a bit surprising to me as well. I expected it to get low review scores since it was going to be looked at a just another light gun game for the Wii. I might have to check this one out.

Also watching at the TGS trailer i would say that the game looks very good!

I hate it when developers do stuff like this. The people who will have the most interest in this game are people who enjoyed the original Dead Space. That's a problem because that game wasn't on the Wii. And now this one is only on the Wii. If you want to enjoy both games currently available in this series, you have to own at least 2 different consoles.
