I agree with you, there wasn't anything special about this game. I just sold it at gamestop a few hours ago. I beat it on heroic, played a few firefights, played on 3 maps in multiplayer, got 565 gamerpoints and I was done with it, the money I got for it is either going to Uncharted 2 or MW2.

AceRock owns one PS3, one PS Vita, and one PS4.

The worst thing at the moment for me is that the story looks to be fucked up...

Spoilers... (Story + ending Halo 3 ODST)

The beginning of Halo 2 and the end of Halo 3 takes place in less than a month. Avery dies at the end of Halo 3 still he appears at the end of Halo 3 ODST that is a month after the Oni's drop.

Btw the ODST's are not that cool as locklear they should have put him in the game.....

Official Halo 2-3 timeline provided by BUNGIE themselves. I edited in ODST.

  • October 20: New Mombasa, Kenya is destroyed by the Slipstream Space Rupture Backlash from the Prophet of Regret’s ship. Edit: ODST's drop in at the same time
  • November 2: The Prophet of Regret’s ship and In Amber Clad arrive at Delta Halo. Prophet of Regret liquidated by SPARTAN-117.
  • November 3: Prophet of Truth leaves High Charity for Earth in Forerunner dreadnought.
  • November 8: The Forerunner dreadnought arrives in the Sol system and proceeds to Earth at near relativistic speed. Edit: Cutscene with Johnson before and after 8th and 17th. Pehaps after the 17th. I don't remember ever hearing how long Chief was unconcious in the jungle for at the start of Halo 3.
  • November 17: The Forerunner dreadnought arrives at Earth. SPARTAN-117 ejects and lands in the Kenyan jungle.

That just confirms what I said doesn't it? Or the events in Halo 3 must took longer than 3 days...Or the epiloque was a bit less than a month...All confusing because halopedia doesn't know the events in Halo 3 ended 2552 or 2553....

I think its great, Bungie delivered again.

Shame on you all for bitching about the campaign. It's a very nice and welcome change for the series. The characters were played out just fine and the story came through nicely. I love how much they were able to add to the game graphically which was impressive especially on an aging engine like Halo 3's.

I think to many people expected this to play out like Halo 1,2 & 3. The campaign isn't long but neither was Halo 3's campaign. They are roughly around the same in length. Being able to play the campaign in ODST in coop is also a welcome addition. I'm a little curious though if this affects the pacing during the lone soldier parts of the campaign.

Seriously too many people gripping about the campaign. Sounds to me like too many people just want to nitpick things in a game and forget to simply enjoy games for what they are. For those having issues with the game I've never came across any of these mentioned issues.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

Sorry I'm not paying $60 for an expansion on a game just because it has Halo in the name. Everyone including Bungie knows its probably only worth $30-$40 at the very most.

I'm not a huge fan of Halo. I thought the first two were great and that Halo 3 was good, but not great.

Anyone bitching about this game being just an expansion should actually play the game. The game is longer then people have said(and actually my favorite Halo Story of all of them), and firefight is awesome.

Oh and 3.7GB would be one heck of a DLC.

The campaign is the best in the Halo FPS series since the original imo, don't understand peoples issues to be honest. Each to their own I guess though.
