Sorry Dead Space, but until I get through my backlog, it's a No Games For Me policy. You'll have to wait until mid-October at least, and hope you'r not forgotten in the flood of other titles.

Well good reviews or not, all indications are that this game will be a major sales flop - I have yet to see a game even mildly succeed when 2 days before release it is not even in Amazon's top 100 games, and not in Gamestop's Bestsellers list (not even the Wii one). Not scientific proof, I know, but as I said, I have yet to see a game behave this way and succeed. I'll be glad if it turns out otherwise.

Then, the Wii consumers will be blamed and all this Wii-hate crap will ensue, but it isn't like we didn't see it coming.

It's at number 30 in the Wii chart on Amazon.co.uk. However it's not in the all format top 100. Hopefully it will shift a fair few copies as it is a really great title, but like many Wii titles it prbably won't. *sigh* :(

Metacritic score presently is a very solid 82, constituted of already 18 reviews, with only three 70s, one 79, the rest are 80 or more..

I wonder how well this games sells?

All, I know is that if it doesn't sell well...that's another nail in the coffin of "hardcore games don't sell on wii"

I used to have Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles then traded it. But maybe, just maybe I will buy it back, get Darkside Chronicles, and this game.

Congrats to this game getting good scores too. I expected it to be good. The Gamepro review surprises me the most because they are a huge outlet. I just gained more respect for them.
