On Topic. Yeah, it is a AAA PS2 port, but there were a whole lot of great games on the PS2 that might get a second chance at success on the Wii, and you should know by now we Wii gamers are gluttons for great games, even if they are ports.

Resident Evil 4 for the Wii will be a million seller even after selling 3.5 million copies for other consoles.
If done with the care RE4 saw, additional content, and budget price this could be a huge success. I think everyone agrees this one had lackluster sucess compared to it's quality. Games are ofter overlooked at the end of a generation. I for one welcome this and ports of other last-gen AAA games at budget pricse.
Final* Word on Game Delays:
The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.
Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.
Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

It hasn't officialy been announced... The rumors say it is yet to be announced tomorrow on the Capcom conference...! So it's a strong rumor of an upcoming confirmation. But let me say this, it is THE MOST LOGICAL THING TO DO FOR CAPCOM, the game is downright made for Wii... And Resident Evil 4 Wii edition breaking a million in the upcoming months it would be good for Capcom economically!
And btw: I'm back... After 2 months, some of u guys might not know me, but i've been around quite some time

The company behind the port of Okami Wii is Ready at Dawn , the same who made Daxter for the PSP and makes Chains of Olympus ... so yeah , it will probably be a good port :)
