I hear prostitution pays well. Or just tell your friends that you'll buy a 360 if they each chip in some money. 20 friends, $10 each and you've got an arcade. 21 friends and you can make a profit

| nordlead said: don't trade the PS3, you'll probably regret it (I say this about every console, especially if you are thinking about buying it again at a later date) go get a job mowing lawns or shoveling driveways or some other odd job (depending on where you live) and save up the money. It isn't selfish if you earned the money yourself and bought yourself something. Also, if you only want to earn a little money odd jobs are better than working at McDonalds, so I'd go that route. You can probably make $10-15 per yard if you mow, and if you can get 3-4 yards you'll make enough money to buy a X360 in about 10 weeks. If you still want a X360 then, you'll have the money you need and it only took 4 hours per week. If you worked a minimum wage job you'd have to work a lot more. |
what if he sucks at mowing lawns like I do
seriously when I mow the lawn, I mow down flower patches & many animals with it!

Buy an xbox 360, but don't sell your PS3 One more thing what kind of "friends" are pressurizing you ENOUGH to trade in your PS3 for an xbox 360? I mean they have pressurized you enough to make this thread. Be careful with who you befriend. Definetely buy an xbox 360, but don't feel you have to sell your PS3 for it.....just because your "friends" are saying you should. |
He didn't really connect his friends to the ones telling him to trade in his PS3. He said, "people want me to trade my PS3 for it". That could be other people than his friends, and in no way did he suggest he was being pressured to do so.
OT: Snake 612 - I think it's commendable you've thought so much about the situation, and respect the value of your mom's money, and sibling's reaction. It shows your not a selfish person, and you appreciate what's given to you. I'd reccomend following nordlead's suggestion, and just save up. Be patient, you'll eventually have enough money to purchase an Xbox 360.
-edit- On second thought, why don't you express to your mom what you've stated to us, and suggest to her a way where both of you could work it out, maybe suggest paying for half of it with your allowance, or ask her what you can do to help around the house, or wherever so you earn the second console from her.

Convince them to trade their 360's for PS3's instead.
Currently playing: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, NBA2k11, Metal Gear Solid, Picross 3d
Two things
Get a job, work get ure own money then you can whatever you want.
Or you wait till christmas then you can pretty much get it then.
Don't get rid of the PS3.
Unless you never plan on playing your PS3 again, I wouldn't trade it in. I don't have a lot of time to play videogames (at least not as much as I'd like to), but I have all three and don't regret it.
Be patient, the 360 will be there when you save up the scratch, and maybe a few more games will hit platinum editions!
