The problem with going to war with Iran is that they can (supposedly) easily block the strait of Hormuz, which would be a big problem for oil shipments and such...

It could cause big problems for several months for the whole world.

I get the feeling this could get ugly. The major Western powers simply do not trust Iran not to weaponzie, and Israel remains able and likely to act on its own if it thinks for a second any of this could result in the use of a WMD on their territory.

With a potential capacity of hosting only 3000 Uranium enrichment centrifuges capable of making one small bomb over the course of a year, with a supposed secret nuclear energy plant to operate on top of that, I doubt a serious capacity exists.

No country is that stupid to detonate only one or two bombs and subsequently have every country in the world declare war on them... Are they?

If Iran are not making a bomb and it is actually a nuclear facility then hopefully they should realise that transparency is the best way to operate.

Depending on what you believe, the optimum outcome, would be to detonate a nuke in the center of Israel, and then be murdered for doing so. If that's the best case scenario, you need not have more then one of them.

Plus, the only reason you have a 3000 centrifuges, is to make a bomb. For nuclear energy, you need more. This is why that plant was hidden.
