The question that was asked is specifically about the Wii, and the answer is strictly about the Wii. Why would you think she is talking about the DS?

Contextually, there is no way she is refering to DS. The entire thing is about Wii, it's not like she snuck the DS in using weasel words.

Not only that, the Wii has 99% of the Wii market!! The other 1% is made up of blind kids holding old 1990's cell phones.

There last shipped figures dont result to 50% market share, but the combination of the DS and Wii go above 50%

The DS alone is 50% (not including Wii in any figures), but again, the question wasn't about about the DS, nor did she ever mention the DS. Maybe this is based off their own internal tracking. Maybe NPD and VGChartz are way off. Maybe they are talking shipped and they shipped a few extra million for the $50 price cut. I really don't have any clue.

If the market share is 47-48% then it's pretty much 50% as far as the PR talk is concerned.

firstly 49% is close enough or either maybe npd and vgchartz are way off or something but yeah if they actually literally mean above 50% than vgchartz is off cause i think ninty would know more than npd or vgchartz probably but hey i am not any sales tracker or anything so yeah don't attack me if i said something stupid as i know nothing about sales tracking...

I would also bet she is merely rounding it off. Its just PR talk.
