No idea.  I tried replaying with the same car he was driving and looked at the same spot on the track (where I thought his was) and it didn't look that way for me.  But it is weird.  I guess there are slight differences in xbox 360's depending on what model 360 you have ( falcon, jasper, etc..) and they could cause things to look slightly different.

Just played the demo, used all cars and messed with the replay camera quite a bit. Didn't see anything like your seeing.

Forza and Microsoft DO NOT HAVE THE PEDIGREE WITH THE RACING SIM GENRE like SONY and Polyphony Digital do.  That's why they can't make a GT killer.  Maybe 2-3 iterations from now, but not now.  You can't be better than a game that you're trying to be like.  When Forza finds its own identity, then it will have a chance, and not until.  As for now, Forza is simply a watered down version of GT - just look at the car count and my point is made.

You know what's super awesome? How you played both Forza 3 and GT5 and came to this conclusion after concrete analysis and judgement with a unbiased attitude. Can you tell me whose winning the Super Bowl , since you are from the future?

Of COURSE I'm not basing this off having played the games..I'm basing off of logic.  How can you say Forza is equal to the behemoth that is Gran Turismo?  Do I need to post sales?  Gran Turismo has a LEGACY, Forza does not.   Polyphony Digital owns a racing team and helped design a super car prototype.  The man behind the series is probably the biggest racing enthusiast in the world.  I can almost garuntee GT5 (almost, don't have a fact sheet right in front of me) has been in development a lot longer.  Forza will be a good game for 360 owners who do not have a PS3 and/or have no interest in getting one for just one game.  It will not be as good as GT.

Hey, how about this..does anyone want to make a metacritic bet?  I hate metacritic with a passion..but I garuntee GT5 posts a score at least 5 points higher than Forza 3 by 3 months after GT5's release.  Any takers?

Its almost certainly a streaming issue, means your 360 drive is getting old - and can't keep up with the speeds/seek times needed. No different from slower texture pop-in on say Mass Effect.

The second 360 I tested it on isn't even two months old lol, this problem is well known now over on the forza forum and xbox forums, happening to many people.....

look at what the demo did to killzone 2.. I played the demo as well, and im not impressed at all, the graphics aren't even up to GT5 P, I was literally jaw dropped when destructoid posted there article.. but hey I guess eyes have opinions.

Delete it, clear your cache and re-download it.

The graphics are very good but somehow I do feel let down, maybe because I have been playing DiRT 2 non stop for the last two weeks which is also a lovely looking game? I should have put Forza 2 in first then tried Forza 3 demo.

You all know i'm normally a 360 fanboy and have also been sticking up for Forza 3 for ages but I honestly don't think the graphics are as good as they have made them out to be, yes it looks very nice but I can't help but see the jaggies, the cockpit view seems to be running at 30FPS in this demo too, the full game is meant to have that view running at 60FPS.

 

The handling is amazing, feels real and I mean real!!!, the sound is also fantastic, so yeah, looking very good, just was a bit shocked at the poor quality of the demo (bugs) and how short it is, a two lap race with no online.....

You must be seeing shit, or your demo is still buggy. Which country did you download the demo in?

The only jaggies I see are barely noticeable. They only appear on thin/fine lines such as the line around the edge of a closed cardoor or the grill on the R8.

The cockpit view is also definiteley running at 60fps.
