What's the connection between Frank West and Megaman?

In the game dead Rising it is possible to get the Mega buster as a Weapon and also a Mega Man costume to wear to.

FWY, it's killing over 56,000 zombies in one playthrough for RD (at least the Mega Buster, not sure about the outfit), and getting S ranks in all "Second Amendment" missions in CTYD.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

I kinda agree w Kylie Dog, Resident Evil is a much bigger franchise, it would make more sense if they put RE characters in this game. Personally, I would love to see Phoenix Wright, lol.
