No doubt it will be good, but the question is can it outsell the Halo and Call Of Duty juggernaut? I think this may turn out like Killzone 2 where everyone says how great it is, it gets alot of ads, but doesn't sell as amazingly high as we want it to.

IW would probably praise anything that isn't CoD. I bet most of them are tired of it. 

I'm really not sure what KZ2's deal is. Massive hype, good marketing, and great reviews but.....the game doesn't seem to be doing so well. It's like it just came and went, and left CoD4/5 to continue dominating in the shooter genre. A game being hyped heavily because of it's graphics is only temporary artificial praise. It won't last long if it doesn't have the gameplay to back it up.

Anyways, I've let plenty of friends play KZ2 at my house and they had that same complaint that many others did - controls. I watch them play, and it looks like they have no idea what they're doing. They struggle just to kill one guy, along with getting lost in all the chaos. In the long run, word-of-mouth can take a game very very far (just look at Halo) but I just don't think KZ2 has that going for it.

I really want U2 to do great. I need another shooter to keep me busy.

That's not a question, that's an impossibility.

It will sell well though, even better than the first one imo.

Roughly equivalent to Batman:AA (PS3) but with longer legs. And a cuter butt.

Cool, it'll be a good rental. Too bad no coop because otherwise I would have bought it.

I mean the shared TV style coop with real friends not the internet friends type style of coop.

I fear that less and less games are going to have this mode as the gens progress.

Yeah, that's what I mean. I thought there was some co-op campaign to play on the shared screen.

Unfortunately according to the developers, they don't want to sacrafice the good graphics they have worked so hard on for these past few years to allow people to share the gameplay experience with others. So only online 3 player coop.
