People really don't read... Several people (including me) already talked about what's internet hype and real hype... And people keeps mentioning the KZ2 VG forums hype like it was a match for real strong advertising (like MS did with Halo or Gears, and Sony did with FF7 back then...

And before you pull the "we're on a sales site" card, I'm aware of that, and like that this site tracks sales. I just don't see this as useful, in fact, I see it as abusing the site's purpose in the first place. This thread was not made with good intentions.

comparing game's does not make sense at all to me, because each game is unique it has it own feel and flow they are not the same game.

saying "____killer" is funny, because Only you can kill a game. by not playing it!

Wow Halo is definitely the exclusive HD sales monster of this gen.

IMO, Killzone 2 is better than Halo in almost every way. I am not a fan of Halo and this is probably not news to anyone. However, the amount of popularity that the Halo franchise has, as well as the fact that ODST is stand-alone, makes this sales dominance understandable.

That's another thing, just like now i say that this thread is pointless (because it was obvious that a Halo FPS was gonna do those numbers) i also say that people saying that Killzone (1 or 2) would be the Halo killer or it was gonna "Killzown" Halo saleswise are really delusional and deserve what they get...

1. No FPS is a Halo killer, in fact, no game is another game killer, unless that game by itself eliminated the other from the face of the earth, then that's a game killer, since i can't remember any game that actually pulled that off i'm standing by my point...

2. If people really thought that Killzone was gonna "Killzown" Halo in sales, they really need to see the FPS market, there's only one franchise (and it's not even exclusive) that matches Halo in sales, and that's Call of Duty (now divided in 2 franchises)... Another thing is graphics, story, gameplay, etc., but purely sales?, come on...
