Forums - Microsoft - 3 Games on Arcade this week!

This week there are three games released on arcade rather than one or two.

Ion Assault

Zombie Apocalypse

The Warriors: Street Brawl

Seems to be the strongest XBLA Wednesday EVER! I was really looking forward to Ion Assault but Zombie Apocalypse and Warriors look nice, too! All three of these seem to be awesome games! Usually I'm happy when there is even one game released that I even bother checking out!

Gonna play all three trials tonight!

Which one(s) will you check? Which one will you buy?

This is not a big deal, three XBLA games in one week happens sometimes, Madballs, Monkey Island, and Tour de France all came out on July 15. Hell six Sega games came out on June 10.

And this definitely isn't the strongest XBLA Wednesday in recent memory (The Warriors is rather lame), that would be June 17:

Rocket Riot

Sam & Max Save the World

Magic: The Gathering

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

I don't know about that "strongest" claim. I haven't heard much about any of those three games.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Wow, sinha - you really are the master of arcade lore! :)

Just checked out the warriors... true, its not that great :/

But I gotta admit: Rocked Riot was nice but I didn't care much about Sam & Max and Magic.

But if Ion Assault and Zombie Apocalyse are as disappointing as The Warriors those three definitely win :)
