When he was on Larry King the same question if he was running for President came up. Larry asked him was he running for the big one and Colbert calmly asked, does he mean running for God cause he can't but one notch lower, the President of the US was more likely. However he never really answer the question.
Wow. A facebook group called "1,000,000 strong for Stephen T Colbert" has been growing exponentially within the past few days lol. As of this second, there are 641,042 members.

That would be the great part. What the hell would he do if he actually won? Our political system is a joke anyway.

Yep cause we were all peaches and cream by the end of the Clinton administration right. His policies had NO effect on the economy which led to the recession (of course accompanied by 9/11). Yep peaches and cream...
I really see a close election in 2008, not a blow out that everyone is saying. Everyone has a bad taste in their mouth cause of Bush but a majority of Republicans doesnt even support him or his policies.

a comedian runs for president with the green party, and wins by a computer glitch. God dam what the hell was it. It was starred by Robin Williams I think....
