Ninja Gaiden 2 on the 360 also ran at 60 fps

What was their complaint about the co-op? That looked like the coolest new feature in the game, besides the innovative 6-axis support of course :P

It ran anywhere from 30-60fps, not a constant 60FPS. Like it matters though.. FPS aren't a huge factor unless one is under 30fps and the other is 60fps

You should seriously play it!

Really tough game to beat. It's no joke.

Storylines could be weak back in those days because gameplay always came first, and this game's gameplay was great.

If you have a Wii, grab it off the VC. I bought it on VC meanwhile I still own NG1, NG2 and NG3 NES carts..

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

There was actually one part of the game, going up a massive stairway with a massive amount of enemies rushing towards you that the fps dropped to like 5 frames a second. If I remember correctly that was one of the reasons for the lowered Ninja Gaiden 2 scores when it first came out. Other than that though I don't remember the fps dropping at all really.

                      The definitive evidence that video games turn people into mass murderers

so....no extra score for innovation? *looks at the reviewer suspeciously and slowly backs off*

Really?I made it to like the fifth stage and it always seem to run at about a steady 60 fps.Maybe I should re-rent it just to see what your talkin about.For me it only ran slightly choppy for like a half a second at worst.The only thing I didnt like the fact the game looked so blured like it was running kinda low-res.

I've never noticed screen tearing in games. Is it that obvious? (if so...Im blind!)

I see that you own Heavenly Sword - that game has bad screen tearing. If you didn't noticed it in HS, then you shouldn't have any problem with NGS2, assuming that the screen tearing isn't as bad as HS. Wait, do you even know what screen tearing is? Maybe your TV is good.

@silicon, they gave the 360 version a 8.7

The 360 version scored higher right? Wth that's strange i thought for sure with the extra bonuses it would've scored higer
