Half-Life 2 is easily in the top five FPS games of all time with the included Episode 1, 2, and Portal being icing on the cake.

I know Half-life 2 is awsome!!! I have finished that game more than 5 times but the orange box never got my attetion when it launched.

Also correct me if im wrong but the OP is asking for a gr8 FPS game and Fallout 3 isn't an FPS it's a WRPG unless you consider Fallout 3 as a FPS.

Are you shooting guns and are you in first person?

It is possible for games to fit in more than one genre.

He can still give insight into multiplatform games, please don't try to start trouble.  He only made a joke, don't take it any further than that.

Sure he's free to give insights into MP games but if I made a similar joke like that to an XBOX thread I can assure you that atleast 10 ppl would jump on me even tho I'm joking and a 80% chance of getting banned for trolling.

If you are going to include Fallout 3 in the list then look no further than that game.

Wow the trolling has "officially' begun (Dorbin and disolitude) and anyone saying that Killzone 2 has a "bad" single player cannot be taken seriously. It has a "awesome" single player and a very "beefy" multi-player with 3 expansion packs already available. The other FPS worth mentioning are Unreal Tournament 3 (split screen/online co-op), Resistance fall of man (split screen), Resistance 2 (largest co-op on a console 8 players), Bioshock, and I know everyone is going to hate me for this but also "HAZE". Now, now hear me out on this one-Haze has a 4 player split screen co-op and a split screen online multiplayer just like Resistance 2. It is not the "prettiest" game of the bunch, but if you do not like playing online (or care about it) the 4 player co-op is a blast with some buddies.

COD4 all the way,and like someone else said if you would settle for a 3rd person MGS4 is a must buy.
