It depends on what city.  If you don't drive in some place like, I don't know, New York, I'm sure you could get away with it but you're screwed if you don't drive in Dallas.

Well, Im 19 too, a guy and I dont drive, though in Chile you can drive alone just when you turn 18, you can drive at 17 but need to be with a guy that has at least 5 years of experience.

Besides, if public transportation is good then there is no problem, for me the only problem is when I go out late but almost always there is one of my friends that live near me that will drive me home xD.

Pfft, don't worry about it Seraphic - driving is overrated. With the traffic, the honking, the waiting for lights, the cell phone drivers, the cost of parking and gas.........I hate it all. With my school being pretty far, I could drive there in 45 minutes, or take the bus which takes about 75 minutes. I travel with a friend, we have a nice chat, or take a nap - it's quite refreshing.

@Izaaz- Yeah! Thanks man! thats why i've put it off for so long, the main reason is... IM SCARED!!!! crazy ass drunked drivers and all that sort of thing! Even more so when collage graduation day comes along and its a day of chaos!

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Wow. Well, you get permit at 15 (you can actually take the classes at 14) and your license at 16. I got mine the day after my 16th birthday. (curse being born on a holiday!)

I want to move to the city so I can just walk everywhere. Granted, I don't really like walking at night but I hate driving. I get really bad road rage....

I always have my parents to drive me somewhere if I need to, cuz, ya know, they're kewl and stuff.

Obviously, when I get a girlfriend it won't be that simple... >_>
