Phantasy Star Universe for the 360 was the last game I played online, until I relealized how much it sucked compared to Phantasy Star Online. It still pisses me off till this day.

i know that feeling. i still have pso on gamecube and i can access a private server if i feel the need.

I play Left 4 Dead online all the time, so I really like online when it's done right. I still play lan and local multiplayer games frequently though.

Since two people mentioned bots... In any cooperative/competitive multiplayer game, bots are simply filler. They are there to keep the seat warm for a human player. Though I suppose if you don't notice the difference between bots and human players you must play online very rarely.

Demon's Souls Official Thread  | Currently playing: Left 4 Dead 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Magicka

I rarely go online, yet I have a PSN, X360 Live acocunt and my Wii is connected online.

My DS is only used to download and sample game demos. No PSP yet.

I game.  You game.  We game.

I'm a videogamer, not a fanboy, but have a special place for Nintendo.

Current Systems Owned: NSwitch/PS4/XONE/WiiU/3DS/2DS/PCGaming Rig-i7/ASUS i7 Gaming Laptop.

Previous Game Consoles:  PS3/Xbox360/Wii/DSL/Pretty much every one thats been released since the Atari 2600.

I never play online really. I own a gaming PC, 360, and Wii. I will occasionally give a game a try online, get bored, and swear it off for probably a year or so. I just can't get into it for whatever reason. It feels like I am playing against a computer who randomly screams racial slurs.

I rarely play online with the exceptions of Killzone 2 (bought for online) and Mario Kart Wii. I've played Burnout Paradise online, but I wouldn't have minded if it didn't come with online at all. I don't really know anyone who plays online in my local area, as my brother is the only person I really talk to who has a system.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I own all 3 current gen consoles and the only game's i play online are fighters like street fighter 4 or marvel vs capcom 2, not liking shooters really limits my online options and my fave genre is rpg's which don't really have any online facilities apart from the odd game that has online trading or such

nintendo and sega fan since i was old enough to hold a game controller.

note: my games collection on my profile is only 20ish% complete, i've got a boatload of 360,saturn and dreamcast games to add and a few ps3 games, thanks :)

I play Conduit and Mario Kart every now and then. I'm too cheap to buy an wireless adapter and a Gold membership for my 360.

I've got a PS3, and I've played online a few times but the basic problem is one that maybe can't be fixed. I'm 28 and with a job and a baby only manage to find 2-3 hours a month to play. I've played about 10 online matches of the new UFC game, and the best result so far is surviving to 3:43 of round one, and landing about 6 shots.

Unfortunately, I'm also good enough at the game that playing multiplayer at home with friends, I can way too easily beat them without trying. Against friends, I intentionally let people back up from the ground, and don't counter every transition if I'm down etc. but I really have to try to lose for it to ever happen.

The situation generally seems very much the same across all the games for the PS3. Playing online, I get my ass kicked to the point where it's just not fun. Against friends, I can kick their asses to the point where it's just not fun.

By comparison, my brother brought round his Wii a couple of weeks back. I actually won one of the games of bowling, and tennis wasn't completely one sided either. I've never enjoyed playing any game on the PS3 as much - unfortunately, it was just the wrong choice for someone in my position. I'm now getting a Wii and I suspect it will get used a lot more than the PS3.
