Dev apparently happy with the progress being made.

Lionhead and Microsoft announced Fable III back at gamescom last month, with creative director of European studios at Microsoft Game Studios Peter Molyneux revealing the first info on the holiday 2010 title.

In this new adventure, players will witness tyranny, poverty and injustice plague their land. They will see a people divided, and they will be compelled to stand up for change.

Since the big reveal Lionhead has quite understandably gone quiet on the title - that is until today.

In a brief Twitter post, Lionhead stated: "The team came back from Seattle, the presentation went well! Fable III is on track."

No new info on the game, but it's good to hear that development of one of Microsoft's premier first-party titles is going well.

From what PEter said when he revealed the game, it sounded VERY VERY cool.....you start of as a ruler.....sounds fun!

Does Molyneux say that Fable 3 will cure cancer just like he said Fable 1 would?

I've learned to expect mediocrity put of him for the past decade. Populous was his last good game.

hopefully its better than 2, which i beat and traded in in less than a week

i loved number 1, and generally love molyneux games

still tho lets make a game where you can die at least, so it has some challenge and longevity.

Sweet, everyone usually expects delays from Lionhead. Good to hear they are on track.
