Comparing total users seems pretty pointless considering you need a legitimate email to join GAF, and even then it can take months. Whereas here people can just make alts if they are banned, has spam accounts, etc. I know you highlighted this in the OP, but it just doesn't seem to hold a lot of weight when they have five times more members online at the moment.

Just as a comparison, IGN has 3,153,688 registered users.
