All I know is that Hamleys had tables with toys laid out on them, and that damned over-corporate Toys R Us didn't. I blame America 
EDIT: Also, Hamley's apparently has a GAME in the basement. +10 to awesomeness.
^my toys r us used to have bikes you could ride around part of the store, im almost sure of it. unless that was one of those recurring dream thingies o.0
Hamley's in London had the most AMAZING display ever when i was there in 2006. (wow years ago :/ ) the whole staircase from groundfloor all the way up to the top had a massive Narnia theme going on, there was a snow machine and everything! it was amaaazing!!! i loved it so much ^_^
