It's not damage control about scores. Its telling it like it is. A game that gets an 8 or above is not a negative score on any system. No matter how much fanboys want to think it is. Also is there a reason there are a dozen threads about that same game.

Here it is cheaper than normal HD games (49€<65€) so to me it is not problem if SP is little shorter than usually.
good short game (like Halo3) getting some insane review score because the amercian website are ruled by Xbox360 supporter

yeah, 8/10 is good
but it is not as jaw dropping as some people or some website are claiming it is ...
and no, all the americans website are not ruled by Halos fans ... but, sometimes, I m wondering if it is not the case ...

Seems okay to me to, but I haven't seen 9-10 hours anywhere. Uncharted took me about 8 hours first time, less and less each time, I beat it on hard in about 6 hours, but crushing was about 8 hours I think.
And which game were you talking about in the post above the one I have just quoted?

yes. the hut is selling halo odst for £29.98 <------- pretty good deal. in fact all new releases are usually sub 30 quid.
i feel sorry for ppl who shell out 44.99 and 49.99 when they dont have to.
