So very very wrong.
Uncharted has only sold about 500k in forced bundles, and there is a big difference between being a launch game, and being a holiday 2007 game. The argument that there were no other games to play is complete and utter crap, Ratchet and Clank, Call of Duty 4 and Assassin's Creed all came out then, and they were all fantastic games.
The reason people expect much higher sales for Uncharted is because of the extra value. Personally, I am very happy to pay full price for an 8 hour game, because it is so good, however, without any multiplayer, many will probably have just rented this, because they think one playthrough is enough (I will be going for my 5th in the week before U2 releases). In Uncharted 2 there is co-op, multiplayer and a longer story. And what else is there in October, Brutal Legend on the same day, and while that will be a good game, don't expect huge sales from it, and then Ratchet later in the month, and I think most people will choose Uncharted 2 over Ratchet (I am getting both)
On the other hand, Resistance 2 was launched at the same time as Call of Duty World at War and Gears of War 2 (and don't say that would have not affected it, I would have bought it if it were not for Gears of War 2), while it did have 60 player multiplayer and its own co-op mode, Resistance 1 had co-op and multiplayer, so the difference is not that huge
There are no comparisons to be drawn here, the sales of the first are very different for various reasons, and the competition for the upcoming launches are different. Oh yes, did Resistance 2 win best game of E3, and have nothing but glowing previews whenever anyone has seen it? Uncharted 2 will certainly sell 3m, and I predict about 650k first week
