most of them are pretty useful. Im just posting from the gaf thread. I never said the game was bad or negative, i said negative with respect to what you normally expect from a halo game in terms of a review score.

Well this certainly wont be over 90+ on metrics but it's still well recived game.

It's not a typical Halo games though, I just think MS wanted a Halo games this time of year and knew it would sell millions, and it payed off. It's not GOY, but a good addition to the HALO games. I say 85 average which seems fair.

Bungie just keeps on pumping out quality.

agreed. I'll get it used, I just refuse to pay full price for a 39.99 game. maybe if i find a deal or something. Its so silly. the game comes in two discs. The halo 3 multi player on one disc, and firefight and odst on the other. I don't even think any of the new game play elements (mind you there are very very few if any) translate to the original halo 3 maps. You also cannot play the multi player campaign from Halo 3 with it, you just get the standard MP + the maps. This is a 4-5 hour expansion that is highly repetitive on an out of date engine running at a very poor resolution, that is my issue with the game. Apparently, the story telling is far better than any other halo game and has MASSIVE potential.

Halo 2's campaign sucked, but the multiplayer was the best available at the time, and it certainly deserved the reviews it got.

Believe it or not, Halo 2 was the biggest boon to online console shooters ever. Halo 1, if I recall, didn't even have an online multiplayer mode. Halo 2's online multiplayer was fanfreakintastic, and made online gaming and XBL what it is today.

Calling it shitty because of its campaign is like calling Counterstrike shitty because it used the Source engine.

I just listed what THE REVIEWER said. Not my words. And asked how the game came close to a 9 when "nothing" new has been added. How can INNOVATION be at ~9?

And stop flaming me! You say it dosent play like any of the others, but almost every review out there so far says otherwise. And then you go on to say that you havent even finished reading the Review. Fail much?

It's an expansion pack also, for 59.99 and a 4 hour campaign, with little new MP content.

Considering all that, these reviews are beyond spectacular.
