The funny thing is that everything you say is true, but it somehow doesn't stop R2 from majorly sucking.

I love R2.

But, I think KZ2 is slightly better in the Multiplayer department. Just because I think the maps are better designed and the gameplay is more fun.

Single player is all Resistance though, I lovvveee the Resistance story-line.

R2 has great co-op but aside from that it just wasn't that amazing. Still good. But not amazing. That co-op sure was addicting though.
Meanwhile KZ2 is probably my favorite FPS next to modern warfare. It's a toss up.

Seriously? I thought the Resistance 2 campaign was awful, and the only thing stopping the game from being a complete train wreck was the co-op, which was admittedly quite enjoyable (but nothing on Uncharted 2). While RFOM has an incredible story, told very well and clearly, R2 had no story worth following. In fact, it had no story at all. Nathan Hale just flew around the world on aeroplanes, occasionally grunting, refusing to go to an inhibitor station, and killing big things. You don't know why he goes to each place, and if you do get an explanation, it's usually along the lines of "There are Chimera there. Kill them".

I thought KZ2's campaign was fantastic, in variety, enemies, weapons, and ABOVE ALL, story.

Resistance 2 is a fantastic game. Provides the best co-op experience this generation and the competitive is the funnest I've played other than R:FoM.

KZ2 is a great game, just not as good as Resistance.

lets make a VG CHARTZ RESISTANCE GROUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

R2 is worth buying for co-op alone.

all i have to say is the marksman was my fav gun in r2 where the standard issue assualt rifle in killzone 2 was my fav gun in that game.
