Well at my day job we charge people 50 bucks for what we call connect tech, which is at&t version of geek squad. I mean we have people who pay for us to go out there to hook up a stereo system... for 50 bucks...

it astounds me they are saying:

1. Latest firmware updates.......ERGH if you connect online the PS3 AUTOMATICALLY tells youa firmware update is available

2. Make PSN accounts......seriously are kindergarten people buying Ps3's now.....you click on the "sign up to PSN" icon & follow the instructions

i'm just happy that game manuals still tell you how to turn on your system and put the disc in. lord only knows what catastrophes would happen without it.

I think tech support has officially trumped auto mechanics in selling BS lol.
