Forums - General - Do you make weird noises or speak strangely to your pets?

I do, especially when I'm hugging or squeezing them.

lol, yup, I do. I'm always like "hello kitty!!" or "Hey my little cat!!".

Yeah, I also fight him(hes a german shepherd) and make him get in my moms bed for the lols.

Yeah same, for my cats. They're just so cute I can't resist to talk to them like that sometimes. XD

I have two dogs, Oliver and Trevor.

Oliver is a complete idiot, but loveable. So to him I'm always making cutesy noises. "Hewwo there Olly polly Bear" kind of thing

Trevor is a genius, by far and away the smartest dog I've ever met... I honestly actually think he is more intelligent than most humans I've met too. Speaking to him all cutesy just seems, well, condescending to be honest.

I pretty much call my cats variations on mongrel, worthless, poop. . . it's all about the love though. I learned if from my grampa "Come here you worthless mongrel!" and then give them some steak.

Such an "Aaaaaw" thread.

I usually say a lot of words that I don't even know what they mean, like: parbrada, ferobipam, japone, shubrilic, glic, and so on.

I like to keep a cutesy tone of voice, but say mean things to them like: "Your so stupid... yes your are so stupid.." Especially with dogs lol.
