You do realize there is a big difference between the charity of individual man to give to others... and the charity of an organization to take from others and then give to another group... right?

In christainity... and i'd think all peoples minds... the correct path is seen as to make sure that everbody has what they need to survive.  As it says in such a passage.  This is simply showing Christian charity.

Even then it doesn't say some don't have more then others.  Just that all were given what they need.

Now as for the topic at hand... well duh. Bush tried the same thing to but was foiled. Whoever makes those people legal immigrants just won themselves a lot of votes. Hence why people ignore the fact they broke the rules and that legal immigration can accept less because we know that illegal immigration will happen... so people that follow the rules are delayed or forced out all together.

As for this being against his promise.  Not really... cause they wouldn't be illegal aliens then.  They'd be legal citizens.

The problem with what he said is that the way we treat healthcare is we go by someones word.  If they say they're a citizen they are... no social security number or anything needed.

So to claim that no beneftis of the new plan will get to people who aren't citizens... that's kinda silly.

People don't hire illegal immigrants because they can't find Americans who will do the work, they hire them because they are cheep. They don't need to follow employment laws.

As soon as you legalize them, 12 million more people will cross the border, and fill the roles they were filling.

I dunno.  It's not like legal citizens can't do work under the table.

It's very common in spain.  I've heard of some citizens doing that here.  Working under the table while still collecting unemployment.

Mostly construction.

I think it's more that they're used because these people have no barganing power.  Which will slightly be changed but i doubt enough to change your entire workforce.
