wessle, i cant do proper pushups but i can do 100 situps (those ones where you twist to the side)

I don't know what the sit ups where you twist to the side are called, but I do that when I do sit ups too because Bruce Lee said it makes then more effective. I've never tried to do 100 sit ups in a row but I imagine I could.

You do martial arts? That's where I get most of my exercise. I pretty much do it whenever I get the time though, I don't have a specific routine.
I practice taekwondo, which I think is a pretty well rounded martial art; I've learned all kinds of punches, kicks, varying techniques, staff fighting, counter attacks, knife defense, and stuff like that. It all gives a great workout, especially once you get up to the black belt techniques.

@twesterm

Why is going after dinner stupid?

You have all that food in your belly and running around isn't fun afterwards (since I usually or use to do weights + cardio).  :-p

I guess it wouldn't be too bad if I had a salad or sometihng like that but I don't like to have salads all the time.  >_>

One of the worst and dumbest experiences I've ever had working out (and this was really because I was an idiot that night) was when I had a huge Whataburger mea and then worked out.  I think I covered that bathroom in vomit.  XD

Working out after eating a lot doesn't bother me. Doesn't give me cramps when swimming either.

I don't eat Salads, but I do blend up all the vegetables I need in one day and drink it... It tastes like swamp sludge.

I am studying Martial Science, Jeet Kune Do, Ninjitsu, Jujitsu, Wing Chun and I'm starting to look into Aikido, Taekwondo, Muay Thai...

Are you good at kicks?

It's a big waste of time to work out. Instead u can do something useful, like lifting boxes from one place to another, or dig in your yard or somethign that will give u a nice exercise as a side effect.

Geez, I got into taekwondo because we had a business in my town with a really good master. That's the only one I've studied so far.

Not to sound full of myself or anything, but yes. The master at my school back in my home town has very high expectations of his black belts, so there's no way he'd have passed me if I wasn't good at them. I know that my friend actually complained that we worked on them too much.

Just as a point of interest, we had a master (fourth degree) who was an expert in the millitary style, so he'd drill us over the basics, another master (sixth degree) who would drill us on kicks with a minor focus on punches and blocks, and then the owner of the do jang and another sixth degree black belt who is from S. Korea and learned from the masters there. He tends to focus on techniques and combining all the stuff we've learned for sparring matches. It's a pretty well rounded place.

I do some wii fit on workdays. Not all of them but I try to, 30min or so, in the evening - mornings the only motivation I can muster more than to have coffee/tea, is to stay in bed.
Weekends I do fencing.
I walk to work because it's close enough (around 20min quick walking).
And don't eat crap too often.

Does the job for me because staying fit is pretty much all I want, not some bulky muscles. Can do around 50 pushups and a bit over 100 sit ups but it's just a bit too much on the boring side. I have some light weights (5lb) that I play around with while watching tv.

I want to stay super fit and I don't wantly bulky muscles either. I want muscles good for martial arts fighting, which is what Bruce Lee's workout are for, making you defined and strong with smaller muscles, so they don't get in the way of combat.

I go thaiboxing twice a week for one and a half hour each session.

Great fun too, if you don't mind getting knocked around a bit.

i wanted to go to gymnastics, i did once time but my doctor said im not allowed to do a lot of exercise cos of my heart so the sit ups are all i do, really. even those are sporadic at best tho, lol.
