I was wondering about that as well. when did DQ and FF share the same fanbase?

I think he believes since they are both JRPGs they share fanbase. However DQ and FF are as far apart as can be in terms of game play mechanics. One is completely old school and avoids changing and the other changes with every iteration.

Decent sales, i wonder what sort of sales will ToV get LTD, it still wont be as big as previous iterations.

Yes they do, in fact FFIX was back then pushed back because Square though that the Japanese RPG gamers would be to busy playing DQVII.

SE put 3 jrpg games on x360 where they didn't even had chance to sell well. You can't expect logical thinking from them :D

I repeat, it's the first generation in which a main FF and a main DQ are not on the same console, which is strange, weird or whatever you want, and the third-party support sucks in Japan for the Wii.
