I didn't mean his opinion was bull in regards to sales for the most part, I meant that it's bull to say that "the 360 fanbase has shown that it's hated JRPGs."

is versus really coming out? it's not coming out anytime soon. why no announcement at TGS, CES, or anywhere?
Versus won't be out until Christmas 2010 (Japan)/Spring 2011 (EU/USA), so we have a long time to wait.
I think FFXIII (360) will do 1.2mil in America and 700k in Others, so around the 2mil mark overall.
Versus should launch to a Japanese install base of about 7mil, so I think LTD it can reach about 900k there. Factoring in America at 600k and Others with 800k, and we're looking at about 2.5mil.
FFXIII Versus(PS3) will outsell FFXIII (X360) in total worldwide due to being released in three regions including Japan which accounts for around 50% sales of every FF game ever sold.
FFXIII Versus (PS3) not being a main story FF game will not sell as much as FFXIII (PS3).

FFversusXIII has Japan, that should be all I have to say...
Now the reason I ask this is because Versus is basically a spin off game, and Final Fantasy XIII is the main game just so you guys know.
It is a pointless comparison comparing the sales of FFXIII Versus on PS3 released in three regions compared to FFXIII on XBox 360 released in only two regions - which is handicapped by not being released in Japan the region which accounts for around 50% of every JRPG game sales.
Like the guy said above me. How come FFXIII (PS3) is not compared against FFXIII Versus (PS3)?
You chose the FFXIII on X360 to compare against a PS3 game to make a pointless fanboy thread.
Versus. Japan contributes to a huge % of FF sales.
