Forums - Nintendo - Italian GameStop cutting Wii price to €199

Price cut confirmed? Any ideas on what kind of cut the UK could see? (not that I plan on buying another Wii, it'll just be interesting to see)

Yeah, it's definitely happening.

Four separate places 'having their own specials' starting on pretty much the same day?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Sad. You know what there is written ?

Yes only 5.000 and the last phrase is really comical:

"now you have no excuses to not buy one for your girlfriend or your sons " ahahah ..bah.

5000 limit, that implies stock clearance, right? And stock clearance implies a new SKU, rather than an official price cut.

Clearly, this is worse than I thought. Wii HD.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Seems like a 20% cut all round.

Assuming £180 is the RRP (I still haven't seen anyone selling Wii with a £200 RRP).

Then ~£144.

Amazon has been discounting upto £15 on the Wii, play.co.uk currently has Wii with Mario Kart for £180. I think we could see similar deals at £150-£160 after the price cut. This is all assuming Nintendo is happy with the exchange rate and we actually get a cut.

US would be paying around £120, UK £144 and EU £180. This is why I think the UK might not get a cut, instead europe might get a cut that puts it in line with current UK prices.

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

No, NO! I won't let it happen. Pachter may be right on the price cut but he won't nail this.
