And yes his Healing Effects give him an edge, even more so if he can maintain EX mode for long amounts of time.

Hell's gate can be blocked by Cloud's normal slashing blow BRV attack =P *runs before he's attacked by sephiroth himself* xD

Firion is a beast when you play it the right way, especially because his Axe BRV attack is unblockeable, and his Weaponmaster HP attack has so much damn range it's not even funny :P

He used a lot of Octo-Slash, but I had luck because I got him demoralised early in the battle by using EX-Mode - then I got him with "Gemetzel" and "Ducken & Drehen" - "Rapidschlag" Combos - I finished him of with the second EX-Mode.

Sadly I do not know the english expresions^^

Well like said I also had luck that I always got him after Octo-Slashs. Ooh and against Hell's Gate Tidus works fine with Energyrain, because using this attack Tidus is always above the enemy, but you have a hard time against "Fünkchen" umm... Sparkle or something in english

Hummm, i think you mean the "Dodge & Slash" BRV ---> "Quick Hit" HP attack right? That's one of the best Tidus combos ;)

That second move may be Scintilla, was it a HP attack?

Yes it is an HP-Attack. Its usefull because you can evade in any direction at the beginning of the attack.

Well there are 3 different "Dodge &" attacks. Its probably "Dodge & Slash" alltough "Drehen" means spin. The other two are "Laufen" - "Run" and "Wurf" - "Throw".

What is the attack animation of the attack that you used? Was is a sidestep to the back and then a throw of the Brotherhood sword? If that's the case, then it really was Dodge & Throw ;)

No... I used Dodge & Slash - The attack animation is umm.. you know evade in direction of the enemy and then makes this spinning attack, and then you can make Quick Hit

Oh and I got Jekkt up to lvl 100 and Cloud is now lvl 71

I am also playing this game religiously ATM. I spend 8 out of my 10 hour shift playing it yesterday because of how dead my work was. I am currently playing as Cloud as well but I plan on mastering all characters at one point. My next one will be either Squall or Cecil. The game is one of the bets fighting games I've ever played, and definitley in the top 5 PSP games.

I have a question for everyone though. Seraphic you might know the answer to this. How can I customize my character abilities when I am fighting against someone on LAN? Usually it just gives me the basic characters with a basic set of abilities. When I go into the customization menu, it will not let me pick the new attacks I have unlocked. Is this just how the game is or???
