9-10 hours when you play it on Heroic difficulty.

4 hours on easy or normal (for experienced Halo players), but well I've completed Killzone 2 in 5....

That's very much a statement of proportion, rather than hard figures.

If I were a sneaky Bungie PR man, I could easily say "*cough* if Halo 3 took you 16 hours *cough*, ODST will take you 12 hours" in order to start a chain of people taking the ODST figure out of context and holding it as a concrete playtime figure, which is what selnor did.

So, 12 hours to 9 hours means ODST's campaign is three quarters the length of Halo 3's.

Halo 3 on Heroic for me took at least 7 and half hours, so I suppose I should expect a good 5 hours from ODST's campaign on the same difficulty.

Not questioning the quality here.

Just I get less replayability out of an FPS' campaign than the singleplayer of other genres.

Call of Duty, Killzone, Halo - I'd probably play through all of their campaigns twice. In contrast, I've been through MGS4 twice and starting it for a third time after the weekend, and last week I finished my fifth playthrough of Uncharted.

Just personal taste, rather than a reflection on the game's general worth.

Edit: Since you ask, re: Uncharted's length, ~8 to 9 hours on normal/~11 to 12 hours on hard.
