Well the complete Interview with Reggie at the PAX, he mentions the core games from Nintendo like Mario (NSMB, Galaxy 2), Zelda (Spirits Track, that Miyamoto drawing) and Kid Icarus ....... yes probably the first official mention of that game from Nintendo.

I wonder when this is coming out. And if its a DS title thats kind of disappointing. C'mon Ninty, you give us the best reason to play Wii, so put it on the Wii or we will kidnap Reggie. lollllll you're lucky we can't kidnap Miyamoto cause you actually need him to make the game haha.

DS has enough love and Wii definitely needs some. I hope they make the smart decision.

Why he chose to say Kid Icarus when it could hardly be considered one of their big franchises still begs the question, but it's far from a confirmation.

From the video he isn't talking about upcoming games he's talking about just the type of stuff nintendo does and franchises. He mentions Donkey Kong too, he's just listing characters and explaining that they don't generally do mature characters/titles.

He doesn't talk about Kid Icarus as a new game for the Wii. He talks about Kid Icarus, Zelda, Metroid as the kind of games that Nintendo does... the stuff they know...

He's right about 3rd parties doing M rated content, theyre just going to have to keep money hatting in order to get the games made for Wii.

Kid icarus thing, it looked to me like he had trouble thinking on the spot and that suddenly came to mind. Whether that implies it is actually being tested or shown internally or maybe he just got some Cassamassa vibes from that annoying Adam, and was reminded of the character, i dk.
