Forums - Microsoft - Will this hurt 360 now in Japan?

With ff13 and most probly GT5 hitting Japan this year 360 is going to have a harder time that it is now in Japan.

The 360 is already hurt............been shot in the face 50 times in Japan. PS3 is hardly doing well in Japan but still enough to support exclusives in that region. FFXIII will be the "nail in the coffin" for the 360 in Japan but as said it has never done well in the region.

Personally I care mostly for Japanese developers doing well which is why I hope any HD JRPG are multi-plat however Wii and most of all handhelds is the way to go.

FFXIII - This well definitely sell well
Versus - this will sell well
DQ X - will sell well only in Japan
GT5 - Not exactly an RPG, but it will sell well
Ryu Ga Gotoku - dont no wat this is
Agito - this will sell well
Any Nomura title >_> - Any game by Nomura will sell lol

Hope those sell well. :D

just thought id answer them for u lol

It's run was always going to come to an end, I'm surprised they have done as well as they have. PS3 JRPGS or not, the 360 will forever be dying in Japan.

I don't;...  The original Xbox sold like a half million without MS trying to be succesfull and having like one exclusive JRPG (SMT).

This gen they put a lot of effort in it and got a lot of big J-games and a nice list of JRPG and they sell only like two times more xbox 360's than the original Xbox in the same timeframe...

Sorry Xbox 360 deserved to sold better but they didn't.

^ wait wait the Xbox had an SMT game?? when was this???

Well, how can it hurt the Xbox? You can't hurt a dead man, same logic applies here

But people still beat dead horses :o

OT: With the PS3 and Wii's upcoming JP lineups, the 360 is in really big trouble. I think it *could* get a new Mistwalker game but I have a hunch saying one of their new games is for Wii and the other for PS3.

Mistwalker has a three gamedeal with Microsoft. And I only count that have been released. So I think it is pretty obvious that we are going to get a new Mistwalker title.

If I am right it were two exclusives and a third on (cry on) optional.

And their are two released:  Blue Dragon/Lost Odyssey.

No it was a three game deal. Cry On was not being published by Microsoft, and the publisher pulled the plug on the game. It had nothing to do with the deal with Microsoft, and Microsoft had nothing to do with it.

Oops I forgot the word two in that sentence of mine

No, you are wrong. Stop being such an idiot

Will it hurt Xbox 360?

You talk like 360 got the position of Wii or the letdown in sales PS3.

Yeah and NO.

I'll be getting P3 FES in less than a month. P4 I think I may have to wait until Christmas. Either way I'm getting them this year finally :P

=p  You said that a year ago!!!

Actually I didn't, unless you can link me :) In 2009 all I've bought was Majora's Mask (and DQ VIII but I didn't buy it), seriously. It's not my fault I can't get games earlier ;_;

I'm getting it for my b-day on October 8 definitely.

>_> But you have so much free time!  It is hard to believe you can't do any chores to get some money...  As an 8 year old I was washing cars, bringing the paper, go to the shop for elders etc to get some money to buy games.....You are now 13 almost 14? Or almost 15 you should have the ability now to do some work....Before you know you have to spend a lot of time in studying or in your full time job and the possibility for gaming everyday for hours will be gone....Forever!
