Tomorrow the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia is released. What are your final predictions?

Remember:

- I've always stated that PS3 is the console in this generation with the biggest jrpg fanbase. For example White Knight Chronicles which is a very average game managed to sell about 350.000 copies, also very niche games as Demon's Souls or Valkyria Chronicles have sold extremely well and don't forget they were new IP's, so I'm pretty optimistic. I expect a huge first week, over 200k, but I think it will be very frontloaded due to the PS3 hardcore userbase and the franchise in itself. I hope Square Enix gets owned by its demential policy towards PS3.

My prediction:

- First Day 180.000 --- First Week 225.000 --- Total 310.000.

What does Square has to do with ToV?

First Day: 80.000
Total: 180.000-200.000

I think it is very clear, during almost 3 years Square has practically refused to support the platform which is a big mistake since PS3 is the console with the biggest JRPG fanbase and the sales of Tales of Vesperia will consolidate my argument.

They didn't "refuse" anything, they got paid big time by Microsoft to have timed exclusives on the 360, most of the games on the 360 that are being ported to the PS3 wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for MS's funding.
And anyway, I still think that Square has some more suprises for the PS3 crowd that they'll reveal in TGS.

And not to mention that Square heavily support Sony on the PSP.

ToV is a PORT!!!!!!!!!! Okay, nice new gameplay features, new cooler caracter...and the new features are awesome, but...310.000 `never^^

According to the source preorders are already over 200,000.  300,000 is definitely going to happen.

First Day - 175K
First Week - 225K
Lifetime - 500K

So, if any of the predicitions are true, from 200-500k Lifetime, then by the standards applied to MH3 on the Wii, ToV will bomb. Afterall, MH3 at 800k is a bomb according to people on this site.

First week: 220k
LT: 300k
I hope it will sell more because the game deserve it.
