I agree with the vast majority of this post. The list is COMPLETE FAIL!

However, Deus Ex was released in 2000, so in actual fact, cannot be included in this list.

Yeah, too many, I know, but I loved all these games. My Top 10 out of those? I can't choose, I change the order every time I try to rank my favourite PC games, so it doesn't make sense.

And of course there are many legendary games missing from my list, as I've never played them - Starcraft for example (I think I only played the demo), or Ultima VII and Alpha Centauri (shame on me - sorry, Lord British & Mr. Meier).

I also loved Tomb Raider in the 90's... it was so exciting when I was chased by the T-Rex for the first time!

although it's REALLY hard to name only 10. there are at least 50 pc games from the 90s worthy of a top 10 spot.

actually a lot of sequels on my list. might be because a sequel back in the day meant "a whole new game based on the best ideas of the first one" ...not the "every year more of the same with a new skin and 10 more polygons" crap we get nowadays.

Reunion was one of my brothers and my favourite games, I can't say how many hours we both spent playing it, was there anything more thrilling then sending a probe and wondering what would you get? A planet ripe for colonising or an alien race determined to wipe you out?

I would of put half-life, AOE and Quake on the list too.

#1 is one of the best games ever made. It has yet to be topped by anything and it's nearing 20 years.

It's just to bad half-life wasn't on here.

X-com and Master of Orion are just perfect games:)
Also I would add Master of Orion 2 and Civilization 2.
