Doesn't make sens to me...

I think MS tries to push the digital distribution even more.

DLC (easily 1 GB)
Games on Demand (easily 7GB)
Video on Demand in 1080p (7GB - just a random guess)
episodic content. You have to be a fool to think this will only happen with Fable II. (1 GB / episode?)
Game installations (8 GB or even more for games with multiple discs)

Or maybe they want to deliver even more like actually purchasing movies via download.

Those were just some thoughts. I do think 250GB is more than you actually need, but I guess it's never enough - and storage is so damn cheap these days.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

lol I'm down to 20 gig or so on my 120, and it would be full if i had more space. I install many games off discs, have a ton of arcade titles, movies, videos, etc.

Guys, I agree but... 250 still seems a lot.
Here in Belgium, we still don't have movies services so...

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

this is a very strange phenomenon this gen.

WHY are people always saying MS counters Sony?! I do not get it.

They were the FIRST on the market this gen, they were the first to offer different SKUs, they ARE the first offering a 250GB and still people claim they would do so to counter something Sony did.

I mean, they are doing it first, how can this be a counter?

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
