I know I don't usually post in the MS forum but I just had to:

So in the campus recreation center here they have put up 4 TVs running the Halo DOST demo. Honestly it's pretty close to what Halo 3 was but there were some new elements, like the fact there is no shield at all, other than that it's pretty similar. I didn't play it long enough to get through the whole thing but whatever was good/bad with Halo 3 I expect to be the same case with ODST. Strangely, for a technical school, there was no line at the games however that is probably because you can play as long as you want untile bored. Anyone else have demo stations near you?

P.S. Don't even bother with the irony of sticking video games in a gym.

Haven't seen anything like that in my area - I would be all over it if there were. Did you get to try firefight?

I guess I'll just have to wait a week and get my own...

Yea nothing on my campus either but I had heard about this. So what did the demo consist of? Was it a portion of a level or was it just fire fight?

I only played for 10 mins today cause I was in a hurry, but it was all in one room so I'm guessing just a firefight. If there's something more I'll find out when i go to the gym again.

Sweet, btw what university do you go to? I want to know if they have any demo booths at universities near me so I could go pay them a visit, you know to evaluate their graduate schools for when I apply :P

GaTech, if you are around it's in the Campus Recreation Center right at the entrance, can't miss it.
