Forums - Microsoft - First (laughable) Halo 3: ODST "review"

64/100, though whether or not this guy has actually played the game is another story. Some choice quotes:

"Basically you're one of the little guys that the Chief usually saves or uses as a shield against alien hordes. Your job is to complete a set of missions taking place outside the Halo 3 storyline. Doesn't sound very fun, huh?"

"he game plays almost exactly like Halo 3. The dual-wielding is there, the familiar weapons are all there, and the environments are what you'd expect."

oh really? It gets worse:

"There are no true tactical additions or attempts to make things go more smoothly. This is becoming a real sour-spot for the Halo series, considering the emergence of the FPS genre on the Wii. There's simply no going back once you experience the fluent targeting of IR aiming in The Conduit or Metroid Prime Trilogy. By comparison, Halo is starting to look like a dinosaur that's unable to evolve thanks to its analog controller."

Hmmm....

Wow never did I think that I would see a biased 360 review outside of Sony Defense Force...maybe they forgot to send him his goody bag. :P

Seriously, I dont think he's played a halo game in his life

see? Some reviewers are wii fans and bash HD games :P

Haha... maybe someone gave him Conduit by mistake and wrote Halo ODST on it.

Hmmm I haven't heard of this site but according to "Boutros" Thread they gave Halo 3 a 95/100 but why this one is such a let down to them...

I assume this website doesn't count towards metacritic right?

LOL, yeah cause having an unreliable IR aiming device is some how leaps and bounds better than a regular controller.

the reviewer calls out Halo 3 as "Halo 2 HD" so that argument iss out of the window so to speak
