If ToV has a lead char anywhere near as annoying as Emil, it'll flop

I wonder how many people already ran out and got ToV along with a 360 as opposed to waiting for it on the PS3.

What are you talking about? ToV already has a lead char (Yuri) and its not like all the additional content is gonna make him some secondary char and add a totaly new lead char. And as far as I know Yuri is supposed to be "the best Tales main character so far".

He really is.

hadn't played ToV, so didn't know what the main char's personality is like.  Still, wondering if the potential of 500k units might have a subtracted factor of the 150 or so sold on the 360, putting at a ltd in the 350k range

Well I for one will be trading in my X360 version of Vesperia when the PS3 one drops. It would be nice if they weren't all over the place, but its not necessary for them to put all Tales on a single platform. Tales doesn't need to have continuity for its games (just direct sequels).

Each game just needs to be developed for a single platform in mind, being the best it can be on that console. So a Wii Tales game can be very good, not trying to be an HD game, having good motion controls (if that's even possible for an RPG). And a PS3 Tales game can be very good, having great graphics, long play time, lots of customization.

A warrior keeps death on the mind from the moment of their first breath to the moment of their last.

Well if the spin off (and critically hated) ToS 2 managed to do 220k on Wii, I think Graces can easily do much better (maybe 350k, I hope 400k).

I think good fan reaction helped ToS 2 pass 200k, it's amazing the response from critics and gamers is usually completely opposite for that game.

i predict 270k first week and 400k LTD
