- JSR - Good game but I thought there was a good sequel to on another system?
- Crazy Taxi - It's fun but...meh? Nothing worth owning a DC and hunting down and paying for a copy of Crazy Taxi for.
- NFL2k1 - Assuming there's still online to play for this game, why would I play this over any of the new Madden's again?
- Sega GT - I know nothing about most racers so I just won't comment. :-p
- Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - Now that it's available for download, there's just no point in playing it on the DC.
- Sonic Adventures - Why would I play this when I can play a better Sonic easier (Genesis ones on any current system)?
- Toy Commander - Don't know this game.
- Soul Calibur - Unless you're playing for nostalgic purposes, there's no reason to play this game today.
- Skies of Arcadia - Luckily RPG's don't always go out of style...unless they have bad 3D (I'm looking at you FFVII).
- Dead or Alive 2 - See Soul Calibur
I honestly don't understand why people have this insane attachment to the Dreamcast. I understand liking it for the nostalgic purposes but other than that, it's not that awesome.

JSR - maybe it is nostalgia, but i prefer the original to the 360 version. the 360 version lacks the same charm that the first one has, but thats more personal preference.
Crazy taxi - I'd like to disagree, CT is one of the only games (the other being powerstone, which i'll get to in a second) that had me returning to my DC every few months. there flat out is nothing else like it that i know of, not to mention that some of the music in that game feels so unique to it. Perhaps its the charm = personal preference thing again, but meh - i love crazy taxi, and its a dam shame there hasnt been a new one since CT2.
NFL2k1 / Sega GT - dont care for sports / racing games personally, so i dont see the draw to this
sonic adventure - this is a preference one. SA and SA2 were (imo) the best of the 3D sonics, and they just play differently (and as such shouldnt be directly compared to) their 2D counterparts. sure, you could say "get the 'cube ports instead" but meh. Besides, i liked the whole "same story told 6 different ways" approach in Sonic Adventure, even if it meant i had to endure big the cat.
toy commander - had great fun playing the demo of it. it was a real neat sandbox-ish game but its nice to see the name of it again so i can look it up.
SoA - i love SoA, one of the few RPGs to actually give you a reason to go out and explore the world map, not just look for some arbitrary place. Also - ship battles, do i need to expand on this? That, and i really enjoyed the characters more so than in most RPGs i've played.
various fighting games - meh. outside of marvel vs. capcom 2 i wasnt a fan of most fighting games, except for powerstone which is a shame that its not on this list. i guess one of the reasons i liked powerstone so much was because it was local (as in not online, as far as i remember) and because it was different - i cant recall a fighting game that did 3D battles as fun and refreshing as powerstone was.
As far as im concerned - yes, powerstone and crazy taxi are dam good reasons to hold on to a dreamcast (maybe not search one out, but thats a different matter). It may be 2 games out of a ton but hell, theres plenty of games on other consoles that "werent all that great" and have "newer versions", so on. Yet i havent seen a replacement for those two (or for toy commander either, for that matter). And no, "simpsons road rage" doesnt count >.>
