  • JSR - Good game but I thought there was a good sequel to on another system?
  • Crazy Taxi - It's fun but...meh?  Nothing worth owning a DC and hunting down and paying for a copy of Crazy Taxi for.
  • NFL2k1 - Assuming there's still online to play for this game, why would I play this over any of the new Madden's again?
  • Sega GT - I know nothing about most racers so I just won't comment.  :-p
  • Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - Now that it's available for download, there's just no point in playing it on the DC.
  • Sonic Adventures - Why would I play this when I can play a better Sonic easier (Genesis ones on any current system)?
  • Toy Commander - Don't know this game.
  • Soul Calibur - Unless you're playing for nostalgic purposes, there's no reason to play this game today.
  • Skies of Arcadia - Luckily RPG's don't always go out of style...unless they have bad 3D (I'm looking at you FFVII).
  • Dead or Alive 2 - See Soul Calibur

I honestly don't understand why people have this insane attachment to the Dreamcast.  I understand liking it for the nostalgic purposes but other than that, it's not that awesome.

While I agree that this list is jsut a popularity contest for dreamcast, you are wrong in saying that DC does not have great titles still worth playing.

Ikaruga is always fun and challenging.

Power stone is still a blast with 4 people and it has not been released for download.

So what if MvsC2 was released on xbox live and psn...its not any less aweosme on the DC.

Dreamcast has loads of gems and you are bound to have missed like Alien Front Online or Headhunter. These games aged pretty good believe it or not as their emphasis was gamplay rather than graphics.

Toy Commander is awesome game that really hasn't been atempted since.

While I agree Sonic games were better in 2D, sonic adventure and Adventure 2 are worth playing more so than a lot of AA games this gen.

And this is all before we get in to emulation, homebrew and mods (quake 1 on DC is really fun and looks kickass)

I can keep going...DC has a place in gaming, even today.
