I meant how the in-game model looked. And it couldn't have shown much detail either way, given it's an N64 game.

^^ true, textures were limited, but the concept art is what the game model is based off of, what they were aiming for. Notice that with the newer tech, TP Link looks pretty close to his concept art design.

I said OOT "was" longer, not "is" longer. Tsk tsk, everyone is trying to assume I'm making objective statements tonight.

Past tense, it WAS longer. TP didn't exist back then, so OOT WAS longer, making my statement 100% accurate.

You are still saying the game itself was longer, not that it took you longer. And to begin with, you told me that how long it took me to complete a game wasn't relevant, so why is how long it took you, personally, to complete a game relevant? Your reasoning is terrible.

My reasoning is quite whacky but it is not terrible. Here are all my statements:

I never said if it was longer for anyone other than me. Second, I said it "was" longer, which was true when it came out because TP didn't exist.

"How long it takes you personally has nothing to do with the length of the games." 

 This statement is true, and it applies to me as well as you.

I never asserted that your play time, or my play time was relevant.

 

 

 

Your profile says that you live in the US, but I have a hard time believing that english is your first language. You stated objectively that OoT was the longer game, when all you had to go on was your own experience. Then you said that my experience doesn't count because it doesn't have anything to do with the length of a game. Yet you used your own playtime as basis for saying OoT was a longer game.

If you had said that OoT took you longer or that it felt longer, then fine. But you didn't. You said it was longer, and that is incorrect, and you know it. You're just trying to save face now, though I don't see for what purpose since it's not like people will laugh at you saying something incorrect.

Also, for your "it was longer because TP didn't exist" - How can you not call that terrible reasoning? You can't compare two things like that. That's like saying "Yeah, Batman Begins was better than The Dark Knight. Why? Because when Batman Begins was released, The Dark Knight didn't exist!". It's absolutely ridiculous. I'll say it again, your reasoning is terrible. Not whacky - Terrible.

I didn't know the concept art was tights. That was the point. Plus they used gourad shading for character models. The textures were for backgrounds.

And I really don't think Link's specific pants are something of a plus for TP.

lol i played them WW--> TP--> OoT. and i haven't actually finished it yet... >.< i got fed up when i got to Ganon's Castle and started playin TP again.

it was hard-going, i found it much more challenging than TP. but i loved it ^_^

and i haven't played Majora's Mask yet, but i have it on GC.. so i'll play it soon XD

Everyone in the West is far too paranoid of looking like a paedophile these days! Zelda was only hotter in TP because of better graphics, but restored Midna is a definite over that oversized fish-girl. One of the things I liked best about TP was finding out who the eponymous character was, and that it wasn't Zelda! OOT is still the better game for me, but I love them both.

Just yesterday,I fought the miniboss of the snowpeak ruins in TP.After it stuck its ball & chain in the ground & I got 2 its back,I hit it with one jump strike.It died immediately.One attack!My 1st attack in the fight!There was no miniboss in OoT that died in 1 attack.While we're on it,I think the best pre-dungeon mission is in TP.When u have 2 help Ilia get her memory back b4 u go to the City in the Sky.The 4 predungeon missions in Majora's Mask are better than all the ones in OoT & TP,though!
