If $200 check goes directly to the reviewer and not for ads then it is a bribe. Doesn't matter how much payment is, it is still a bribe.

If they were truly trying to bribe them they wouldn't be public about it... common sense people, although I can't say if 200 USDs is low or high for a video game reviewer or not.
But the point is that it was public in the first place, and it's obvious that the reviewers can't check it and then completely tarnish their journalistic integrity... in PUBLIC >.
