I just found out about the now OS from google called chrome and was wandering which OS you think will be better , chrome or windows 7 .

Windows 7 is out next month while google chrome os is out next year with the beta coming later this year .

I know windows 7 is just a normal OS with improvements from vista while chrome is only abut getting onto the internet .

(this might also take some of the heat off the 360 vs ps3 war which is going on in the formus now lol )

Windows 7 will demolish gOS in usage and quality.

Windows 7 will be better in every way, I would guess.

Maybe this time they can include a semi-competent browser.

Depends on what you want. If you have a decent desktop PC, Windows 7. If you have a very old PC, or a very underpowered netbook, then Chrome OS.

Chrome OS is really just Linux with the minimum install needed to run web based apps. The goal with all the apps that would run in Google Chrome, would run in any web browser, so all the apps would run on Windows 7 (or anything else really).

If you have a need to turn on your computer and do web based stuff in 10 seconds or so, Chrome is a good option. If you need to do anything not web related, Windows 7 is the answer.

If your not in the ultra portable world, they really don't compete.

Chrome probably wont go anywhere, at least in comparison to Windows 7.

Here's hoping its a competent OS, the more competition together.

Windows 7 somehow i don't see new Crysis working on google OS :)

Microsoft is an experienced Player & I think that Windows 7 is the best operating system Microsoft has ever produced. So I vote to Windows 7 but I will definitely wait for Chrome OS for testing. So the competition between the two big companies will be interesting to see and can be quite helpful to users as well.
