Forums - Microsoft - New ways to exploit your Avatars

For you people that have been itching for ways to mess around with your Avatars and pimp out their new apparel, your in luck. Two new Indie Games have been released a few days ago that will let you do just that.

The first one being Avatar Drop. In this game you drop your Avatars and smash them into objects. Much fun to be had for only 80 points.

The second game is Avatar Golf. In this game of golf, you play as your Avatar. Create custom courses and play over XBL. This game will run you 400 points.

Unfortunately you can't play indie games off of Live, so I can't enjoy either of these games

Avatar golf is one of the best games on live. It's made by the guy who is Easy Golf which was one of the first good Indie games

Nice,Avatars FTW!

Looks brilliant!

I might have to pick up that golf game, it'd be the first Indie game I've ever bought.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Avatar Golf is actually a decent game, and it's only $5.

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
